Pain in top of both feet

Hi. I have fibo and arthritis. I have just had methotrexate increased to 17.5 each week by pen jag. I have recently started having pain across top of my feet walking or sitting still. Usually one at a time. I am not sure if this caused by my fibo. Has anyone any experience of this type of pain. Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Yes I too find it hard separating them at times. I have phoned rumatology answerphone. They usually return call within few days. God bless

I don’t have Fibromyalgia but I do have RD. My physiotherapist thinks the pain in my feet (top and bottom) is due to RD.

Thanks your reply. I have left a message with rheumatology. Hopefully hear back from them soon. I thought it might be something to do with the methotrexate as I have just started it . God bless

Hi Jonn9 I too have fibro and Arthritis. I also get pains on the top of my feet. It's not like joint pain, but sharp burning pains. Also like you it can occur when sitting doing nothing. So I would think it is fibro related because it just comes out of nowhere. I hope this helps.

Thanks yes that's how I would describe it. Sometimes I struggle to describe my pain as well . But yes it definitely comes out of nowhere. Thanks again

Hi John I have this, predominantly in my left foot. I have fibro and arthritis but have found out that mine is caused by a morten's neuroma. Massaging helps with the pain.

Hi I have the same problem trying to identify what causes my pain but my rheumatologist is very helpful but it is very frustrating.

Hi John. I am experiencing quite severe pain in both feet, also pins and needles and strangely numbness too. This is not due to methotrexate which I have been taking for many years at 25 mg each week. Currently the medics are thinking it is neuropathy. Sorry that probably is not that helpful. Hazel
