Lower back pain
I am so genuinely sorry to read this, and I have pasted you a link to the NHS Choices cache on this issue. They have a significant list of different pain relief and treatment options that may be worth checking out:

When I get too much back pain I use a TENS Machine which I find quite useful. They are quite cheap these days as well. Usually if you go to physio, the therapist quite often offers you a trial with a TENS to see if it works for you? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Morning lower backs are a forte of mine. The pillows are good but do have your legs elevated when you try yo sleep . So put a large deep cushion under your knee ro toes so lye with them making a h shape. This releaves the back pressure is brilliant for swollen legs or feet. Do try

Both Ginseng and Ken have given the two main tips I would also give. I did find some back exercises given by a physio did seem to give me a bit more flexibility. Since we moved to a bungalow I haven't had quite so severe back pain so I think having to climb the stairs to go to the loo all the time in our old place was not helping matters.
I do wear a support for my back only when I am forced to do some bending to give it that extra bit of stability but take it off as soon as I have finished. When I still had a bath I used to find an Epsom salt bath seemed to help with a good massage with something like Musselflex before getting into bed with of course the pillow either between my knees if I lay on my side or at the back of my knees if on my back.x
Hi x im sorry to hear of your suffering- i too get severe lower back pain and the only thing ive found so far that makes a difference is a good old fashioned hot water bottle! It doesnt stop the pain but it really can make it much more bareable. Hope this helps! X
Thermacare back wrap!!! Works like a dream with the bonus of keeping you warm and toastie in this weather. Won't kill the pain but it definitely eases it 🐸
I have recently tried kinesiology tape on my lower back when it was painful and it did seem to help. I also use it on my neck when the discomfort gets to much to put up with and it offers immediate relief there. Don't know if it would help you but it might be worth trying; you can buy pre-cut kits online. Hope you find some relief from your symptoms. Gentle hugs, Steph
warm water bottle against the area (Not hot) heat helps me cope with pain a lot!
Hi,
I've tried everything including opioids, acupuncture, exercise, tens unit, pills of all types, acupuncture, lower back facet injections. I am now trying the alpha stim m unit at the va. It really seems to be helping. It takes weeks before you see any difference. It also has clips on it to put on your ears. Supposed to help depression, sleep. It really helps me sleep. Look it up on the Internet. It's called alpha stim m. The only problem it costs $1,195.00. I'm glad I have the va. I'm a disabled Vietnam vet. I get it for free.
