It turns out my Husbands collapse was exhaustion , between him caring for me and me caring for him and us caring for his elderly Mum & Dad, his body basically shut him down, and the good news is Sidney the Kidney as we call it is absolutely fine. So now for a more relaxing stress free day. Ha ha I hope.
Oh thank heavens for that. Not that exhaustion is good but it could have been so much worse. Hopefully at least he can get some rest to try and recover.
I'm so pleased to hear your husband is ok, but not good that he collapsed from exhaustion. Are you getting any help from social services to help with your parents in law?
Hi blue, So glad to hear you found out the reason for your husbands collapse and Sidney is doing fine. Can you not get any help or suport to help you and your husband care for your inlaws? You already have a lot to deal with. Take care xx
Hi Dizzttwo, we have finally persuaded his dad to at least get a Carer in , in the morning for his mum so that helps a bit, he is in his 90's and a stubborn old watsit and doesn't like outsiders coming in. But we have decided to call them instead midday and see them in the evening to help with food and cleaning. We will just plod on at a slower rate, not much else we can do. Thanks for your reply.xx
We have a Carer now in the morning, the problem we have is they are in their 90's and stubborn, and don't like outsiders in. I think his dad realised after my husband collapsed that he had to give in to at least a morning Carer .xx
