Did You Know This?

You don't have to live with the pain that fibro can bring. Just avoid foods that are high in oxalates. Google foods that are high in oxalates.

Cheers.

I'm afraid I don't agree with this sadly LadyNZ, if it were only a matter of change of diet don't you think all the medics would be telling us to change to the specific diet and thus stop costing them a lot of money in medications.

If however you have found this to be the case for you, I would actually want to know whether I really had had fibro in the first place.

Sorry for sounding so negative, but there are so many "quack", cures out there, I find it hard to believe that just one tiny change could cure the over 2,000 members we have here. 😳😊

Sending lots of positive vibes 😊

Thank you so much for asking Jane 😊

I'm not too too bad, just my shoulders, neck and lumbar spine are playing war games with my body........just the same old same old, but thankfully not flaring ........phew 👍🏻😀😀

How are things with you ? Not too bad I hope, lots of positive vibes coming your way just in case 😊😊😘

Oops didn't mean to do that!!

Mentally feeling better now as flare seems to be coming to an end. It has been getting me down I do confess as they seem to be getting longer. By hey ho positivity is the key and also keeping occupied no matter how hard it gets.

Sorry to hear about your neck and shoulders - that is probably the worst are of the body for me too. Yoga does help a little but I had to miss my class this week as I had a bad migraine.

Thank you for the good vibes , sending some back to you too 😊

Fingers crossed for some uninterrupted sleep for all in the wide awake club tonight.

This was actually a diet suggest by a UK doctor who herself has fibro.

I also went gluten and dairy free plus no caffeine.

Agreed Foggy. As i said somewhere else - what happened to a healthy balance diet? When you analyse them they all boil down to the same thing

No. Always get pain after eating high oxalate food though.

I never believe anything from the Daily Mail.

There's a story about a woman who went to see a psychologist. She was anxious about the state of the world. Eventually he advised stop taking the daily mail. She was cured after a couple of weeks. True or not, food for thought.

Oxalic acid in Rhubarb and spinach among others. They used to boil down rhubarb leaves to make a cleaner for railway trains it's so powerful.

No, I don't take any painkillers at all or any other medication for fibro.
