I've been taking rosehip capsules for a few months now. My physio said they were good for osteoarthritis. I haven't noticed any difference since taking them to be honest. I didn't know they were for fibro though. I'm diagnosed with that too. But, like I said, they don't seem to have helped me at all. Others may have found differently though.

I know it’s good for scars and stretch marks etc.

Hi Tasha,

Rosehip syrup can do no harm, though whether it works if you need it to is another matter. Ken is doing some research into the medi-pen and I would be inclined to wait and see what he has to say about its efficacy before spending a lot of money investing in a medi-pen, but that's just my very humble opinion!

Lots of healing vibes coming your way 😊😊😊😊

What’s inside the MediPen?®

We use only the highest quality CBD Oil sourced from the UK and Netherlands, combined with Pharmaceutical Grade Coconut Oil to produce our extremely potent, signature gold blend formula found in every MediPen®. Our CBD Oil is extracted from a cutting-edge strain of the Cannabis plant grown independently in the Netherlands, containing upwards of 20% CBD. This enables us to create our powerful, natural formula found in every MediPen® using only the highest quality raw plant matter available, unlike other CBD-based products which use inferior parts of the plant such as hemp trimmings, stalks and seeds to create a much weaker blend.

My husband has RA and desperate for a way to reduce inflammation (his CRP was 97) I did some research into how alternatives could work. He has been taking the following for the last 9 months. Pyconogel, Rosehip, Turmeric and Zinc. He was also on vitamin D at one point as blood tests showed this was low. His CRP fell to 47 within three months and just over six months later it was under 10 and it's now at 8. He is reducing his Methotrexate and is now only on three a week and his Naproxen use is minimal. The chemist is amazed and asked me to tell him what he's on, his GP, well never really was bothered and his Rheumy specialist would prefer him on higher doses of methotrexate with another DMARD. I am no idiot, I'm a research doctor and will continue to monitor how he goes. I am also not advocating that it would work for others but certainly for my husband it's working. I really think more research needs to be done on natural alternatives

I think rose hip is an anti -inflammatory but i have not tried it. I do take turmeric and I do drink a lot of fresh ginger tea which is also anti-flammatory and very pleasant, great for digestion too. Boots also do an actipatch which is supposed to be good but only trouble with that is I never know where to stick it for maximum effect when I seem to be in pain all over

Hello tasha2, I have tried Rose Hip tablets or was it capsules, I got them from Holland & Barrett. Yes they are good for pain, I have OA, and back pain.

I found them very helpful, and they did seem to be helping but, due to cash shortage I could not afford to buy any more, and I have not got around to getting any more.

I also saw the telly advertisement for the Acti Patch which is drug free, there is a free trial online I think, have you tried this yet?

My usual pain relief is 30/500 co-codamol which do the job ok, I try to only take them at night, but when needed I have to take them and sometimes they make me nod off!!1

Pain is so debilitating and gets you so down, and yes I will try anything when it gets bad.

Well good luck and I hope they help, let us know how you go, ttfn from Karen
