its day 5 tooday since i had my laparoscopy for suspected servere endometreosis, omg ive not been in this much pain since i had an emergency c-section 22 years ago i feel so rough everything hurts stitches back and legs and worst of all is the trapped gas it is so painful. the op found no endo but have found adhesions in my stomach so back to square one another referral to a general surgeon this time gp sending it urgent . im still no nearer to finding out what is wrong with me im so fed up its been going on for over 11 years i so need some answers the pain in my legs is horrible, for those that dont know me that may read this post i have fibro/me, ibs, arthitis in knees myalgia parasethia to name but a few. dont want to put people of a lapo but to say the least it doesnt make you feel to great im sure il be back to myself in a few days just doing little and often as this helps to dispurse the gas if you move round. take care all joanne x

Sorry to read your post was hoping that the procedure would give you some easy answers. At least they have ruled it out but as you say you have now got to wait again. I think with multiple health problems any procedure has a worse effect on us than normal so as you say just take things slowly. Let us know when you have some news.x

Hi joed

I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are still in so much pain and no nearer to the answers that you so desperately desire and deserve. I sincerely hope that you will get your general surgery appointment through quickly. I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck. Please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

I've had a couple of laparoscopic operations, investigative, gall bladder removal and eventually appendix removal. I agree the awful wind pain afterwards is terrible. The best thing to ease it for me was to sip a cup of boiled water ( let it cool a bit first). I'm not sure why it works, but it seemed to help shift the trapped wind. I used to have one cup before bed, and another in the morning. More often if you need it. Hope you soon feel better, and they can find the cause of your problems. MariLiz
