had me assessment with capita yesterday they were so nice and friendly so didn't trust them one bit, does anyone no how long it takes after your assessment to getting that brown enverlope from dwp through the door.

Hi I had my assessment on the 2 July and about 10 days later got the brown envelope, now just waiting to get paid lol.let us know how you get on

10 days before I received the brown envelope awarding me lower rate. Very relieved to get something. They call you following year just to see how you're getting on and if condition has got worse or better. My case worse but anyways good luck

Hello Nigel,

It is so glad to communicate with a fellow cynic when it comes to dealings with PIP medical assessments.

I waited a couple of weeks. I was not happy with the outcome and so asked for a mandatory reconsideration. This was also completed within a couple of weeks so they are getting quicker.

I hope that you get what you need.

I agree the capita lady I had was lovely, but I didn't trust her and she failed me .Her answers were totally the opposite of what I said. I appealed and luckily won my appeal. Hope you get good news.x
