This is my wee boy Brian the Border Terrorist, I mean Terrier.
My parents bred him and I delivered him - cut his cord and everything
Brian and I are inseparable and he is the best motivation I could ask for. We go out for bike rides, explore the woods by my house, play baseball, and generally do everything you're supposed to do with a dog.
Brian is completely aware of my not-so-brilliant days, and behaves accordingly, but on my normal days he won't take no for answer - if it's time to go out then that's that!
Just wanted to share xx

Oh he is gorgeous, such a cute wee face reminds me a little of a Border Lhasa mix I had, he had the same shape face just longer hair He has a mischievous look about him
Posted that picture I promised you, in the picture you don't see that he has black in his coat on his body. Poor wee man had a mix of terrier coat and Lhasa's finer softer coat. We lost to by when he was only 18 months old when the postie ran over him in our drive, it was devastating. I have my Cassie now but still miss Toby
Oh EA, what a fine terrierist he is, as a fellow terrierist owner I understand only too well . Brian looks sufficiently well bred to be of show standard
I too had a JR - Gertrude Russell who I delivered and she was my soulmate for 16 years, saved my life literally when I haemorrhaged after an op and she woke me, had she not, I would not be here to tell the tale!!😳
I was bereft when I had to make that nasty decision we, as pet owners have a duty to make, and I miss her like crazy still, but other little doglets are in my life now, not the same, but I love them both deeply, but in a completely different way. As you say both of mine are very tuned in to how I am and make very little demands of me when I am really unwell, but on the better days they give me the incentive to walk perhaps further than I should, but I love it so much, some of it is worth the ensuing pain 😀😃
Mr B and Poppie (my avatar) send their canine salutations to Brian 👍🏻😀😀
Wow, it's amazing that your JR woke you up and saved your life like that - dogs really are amazing animals. I can't cry around Brian or be visibly upset as it makes him physically sick, so he really helps me keep my spirits up!
He's a 7th Generation pedigree, but I've never shown him. He was bred to be a stud, but I've yet to find a suitable girlfriend for him
He is gorgeous! Funny how our pets get to know when we r ok and when not. Saying that my 3 Yorkies, Alfie, Molly and our rescue dog Bertie, always expect their walk and unless I'm needing a day in bed, they usually get it!
I wanted to buy my daughter a border terrier,to keep her company, but unfortunately, as a police officer her shift patterns would make it unfair on any dog, so she borrows mine occasionally!!
I want one!!! He looks full of fun and mischief. Not sure my cats would approve though.
What a little smasher. Our little boy Eddie is just 4 months old and full of mischief. He is a cross breed collie x lab x staffy and is learning very fast and is a gorgeous boy. Although my garden looks like a bomb has hit it as he likes digging and has tried to eat most of my plants. He also like watching telly and sits with his tongue poking out. Gentle hugs to you and Brian. Joolz.x
I love Border Terriers. Never met a nasty one. We have a JR called Buzz. He drives us mad, but he is so loving and for a terrier is very well behaved !
Dogs are the best therapy there is. My little man Hamish ( in picture) is my shadow , my husband says he may as well be invisible as far as Hamish is concerned. Your little boy is adorable Hamish,s best friends are two border terrier s Tilly and Bracken.
