Lump on the bottom of my foot

Good morning everyone, I have woke this morning hubby helped me out of bed. When I put my left foot on the floor I screamed with pain, my hubby thought he had done something to me and was getting very worried, I asked him to help me sit down on the edge of the bed . Once there I asked him to look at the bottom of my. Left foot, he said there was a red mark and a lump in the centre of my foot, I can hardly walk at the best of times but now I am struggling to even put my foot on the floor. I can feel the lump when my foot goes onto the floor. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? Small lump red around it and very very painful

I sounds a bit like an abscess or ulcer, best to get it checked out. Both are extremely painful apparently.

Hope you get it sorted soon. Abscesses are best sorted sooner rather than later as they can be nasty things :)

Hi michphil

I am so sorry to read of this, and I agree totally with the others in that you really should get this checked out in case you need antibiotics? And to discover what the issue is?

I want to wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

I've had many of them. In my knee, and my finger joints. From arthritis called nodules I believe. Also had ones that turned out to be boils. Both hurt.

Thanks everyone for your replies, You will be glad to hear that I went to see my gp today and she says it is a nodule. Never heard of these before but as Lisaann says they are from arthritis, it is very painful and it feels like I have a stone in my shoe. She has given me some antibiotics and I have to go back next week to see her.

Well at least I know what it is now, our bodies do come up with some funny things at times, but how dull would our life's be if they didn't. I am going to get as comfy as I can now and have a lovely brew, absolutely exhausted now with going the docs. Will let you know what she says next week when I have been to see her.

Gentle hugs everyone and have a lovely evening and agreat weekend xxx

Glad you have been to your GP and have got some treatment hope it starts working soon. I have these on my fingers and yearrs back one of those got all inflamed and went very red and swollen but it must be terrible to have one on the bottom of your foot. Take care and let us know how you are doing.x
