Fibro moment??
good to hear you are safe
glad you are OK - I left the hot water on when I went out, so hot when I got back.
I am so happy that you and the dogs are okay, it just shows how these things can happen so easily when you do not feel too well?
All my hopes and dreams for you

thanks guys.and to ozzygirl I will bear that in mind.not the first time i have done this.7 years ago i had a fire.got up and put oven on to cook a chicken and left it to cook while i took Buster out fro a walk.came home an hour later and noticed a crack on the kitchen window and curtains down.opened door to find flames.i had not turned the ring off on the hob from cooking chips in chip pan and the whole lot went up in flames-destroying the kitchen and smoke damage everywhere else.my neighbour claimed she never heard the smoke alarm but our dividing walls are thin and you can hear everything.me and Buster spent 4 weeks in a hotel before we could come home.vowed never to use a chip pan again.
So glad you are OK and no damage to you, your dogs, or your house. That fire business is scary. I had one in my garage 5 years ago and we couldn't get back in for 3 months. But it wasn't from anything I did.
I too use the timer now, for a lot of things. Sometimes I even forget I'm doing laundry.
And to share a similar case of brain fog, once I went out and got my hair cut. It took 20 minutes and about 3 minutes each way. When I got home, the alarms were going off and the pan with hot oil was smoking. How in the world did I get out of that one.
Bless your heart and give Annie a hug and a smooch.
Huge hugs given to Annie.,at least i know she would wake me if a fire ever happened. It was lucky I got home when I did.my neighbour said she heard my smoke alarms going but didnt think anything of it.and I was quite shocked no one had called the fire service as smoke was billowing out of the kitchen window and walls.I was just so glad I was able to come home during the day and sort stuff out.so glad it wasn't the whole house.I moved back in after a month even tho it wasn't fully habitable had enough of hotels even tho my insurance company were excellent and took care of everything.even giving me money for takeaways !.thoroughly spoilt at the hotel having full English breakfasts and I was able to have my Buster with me.the hotel bill alone was close on £900.so glad I had insurance.
If its any comfort This is not confined to fibromites.
Students are notorious for putting food on the cooker then forgetting it. We had 40 of them evacuated at work this week. Amazingly the chicken wings survived.
When the firemen had finished ripping out my kitchen they joked well your chicken has survived.
Glad you are all alright it must have been a bit scary, hope the damage won't take too long to fix.
Take it easy and sending you fleecy fluffies and smiles

So glad you are all okay these thing happen in life don;t they as long as you are all alright things can be repaired. For that reason I always use timers and take them with me as I move around the house. Yes I even use a timer for the washing as I am a devil at putting it in and then going to put another load in and I haven;t put the other in the dryer or trying to put washing in the dryer that hasn't been emptied like today.x
