I'm back now. ... More bad news for me.

Sorry I've not been on here for a few days but my fibro has flared up and I'm stuff as a brush in the mornings, headaches, painful fingers (I screamed in pain on Friday morning using the car indicator - that's not right) and sooooooo tired. But I found a rash last Tuesday in my back. Thought I'd been bitten but it didn't go with anti histamine or cream so went to the dr on Friday. What do I have now? Blooming Shingles!!!

If it doesn't rain on me it pours.

so I asked the dr about my fibro and he said the stress and fibro has got me down so the shingles came and now the shingles is aggravating the fibro. Vicious circle.

I'm Ok and plodding on, but frustrated that the rubbish doesn't end just keep coming.

Anyone else get this happen when they were diagnosed? (Get sick and it make fibro worse).

So sorry to hear you are unwell, I have not had shingles myself but my husband has, the pain was like he was burnt and went on long after the rash faded, so on top of everything else you have this to deal with you get this, all I can say is take extra care of yourself and I hope you feel better soon XX Lou

Aww as you said it never rains it pours

I'm stuck in bed with the pain nothing is moving pains terrible I can't turn over without yelling.

Could laugh at the stupidness of seizing up but I'm looking for my sense of humour which is evading me lol ... If you find it post it back

Anyway did gp give you anything for shingles I think if within 24hrs they can.

Chin up hope you're better soon.

I'll try and find your sundae of humour. I must have a spare one here somewhere :-). The dr pour me in some anti viral tablets for the shingles which is stopping the itching. Absolutely exhausted today though. Keeping my chin up.

Oh dear, Shingles is very painful and nasty.

So sorry to hear this has happened on top of everything else.

I hope you're on the road to recovery soon, so you have one less thing to have to deal with! Xx

Hi bonsabrost

I am so sorry to read that you have shingles, which is a very unpleasant condition to contract. I have pasted you a link to the NHS Choices website page on Shingles treatment. Hopefully it may give you some extra ideas for getting rid of this:

I want to wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you
