"So if I have a flare up & need to take one now, there'll only be three 15mg codeine tablets left till I see the doctor again on Monday..."
But I could always take the paracetamol couldn't I, cos they really help, don't they.
On a brighter note, I got my prescription for my inhaler, (Yay!), but they'd missed off my bp meds, so had to wait for another script to be signed.(No!) So now I'm just chilling, letting my tea go down, waiting for my meds to kick in, hoping I'll sleep tonight, looking forward to my lie in tomorrow, trying not to think of the housework that needs doing... Right, were where we? "Four 15mg codeine tablets left..." Gentle hugs and hopefull sweet dreams for all, Julie xxx

I am so sorry to hear that when you finally got your prescription it wasn't quite right! However, at least you got your inhaler. I presume it was a blue ventolin that you needed? I have ventolin, atrevent and symbicort for my asthma and COPD.
I have tried singing your song on the top of my voice and my wife has just shouted the most awful obscenities at me! I am wondering if she doesn't want me to sing?
I genuinely hope that you manage to get your really good sleep.
Thank you ken. Think you should give your wife a hug for putting up with your singing! Perhaps you shouldn't sing with your mouth full as fenbadger says! Yes, it is the blue ventolin I use, hope you are well and are having no problems with the breathing this morning? Managed to get quite a good night, woke a few times but managed to get back to sleep again. Hope you also had a restful night? Hugs, Julie xxx
Hope you have a good weekend. have been where you are, you can do it, but I do remember the relief when I found a spare couple of tablets in an old handbag.
Thank you Jacqueline, I can imagine that relief! I'm trying to think if I've got any old handbags lying around, knowing my luck, if there is one, it'll prob have paracetamols in it! Gentle hugs, Julie xxx
Pleased about the smile, am always trying to stay positive, although it can be hard at times. Hope you too have a good weekend, keep smiling, Julie xxx
Ow, you have my greatest sympathy. Is there a way of regularising your scripts? I get 3 months supply and start the ordering process a whole month before I run out. It mostly works as it allows for delays at the surgery, allows for delays and shortages at the pharmacy, allows for my delays. Means if I'm felling rough I have a few days grace before I HAVE to go. I also have an online repeat ordering system and script is delivered to the pharmacy so I only have to go out once, to get the meds. Of course it breaks down a bit with some meds and those I take at need and not all the time.
Wow, you are an organised badger! But I can understand the need to be. I have to have a review appt with my gp soon so will ask him about it. Thank you for this. As for the h.work, s'pose it could wait, but seeing as I actually slept thru' last night, feel like I have the energy for a change, & the washing machine has started to smell, then I am going to give it a good clear out. Will be able to rest then, when the house smells fresh again. Gentle hugs. Julie xxx
Go for it Julie. If you feel up to it then make full use of the energy, but don't forget the "ME TIME", you're entitled. And if there's something you can usefully bring forward go for that too. It's basically how I keep on top of things
Hi Julie I agree with fenbadger housework does NOT need to be done, dont risk hurting yourself if no meds to cover it. I have had this roblem for a few months, meds kept running out. Chemist refused to give me any, got an extra script off gp. But finally this week one doc agreed i was only being given 12 days supply to lsst a month ! All psinkillers now increased to correct amount. Problem was i use less ehen its not winter but need to take full amount prescribed in winter, hoping to feel better soon, hope you do too.
