After having my daughter and bringing her up alone in my little house, today is Move day!
Moving 7 miles so not far but to a single storey bungalow. I cannot use stairs at all. I have lived in the bedroom for the past 8 months as I also suffer from a bowel disorder and need the toilet often urgently. So unable to rush upstairs, decided as the fibro was getting worse lived upstairs near the bathroom. That is no life. So now it's all about boxes, tape and bubble wrap!!
Next time I write on here I would of moved so bye for a while fibro pals!

Fantastic for you .. A new beginning... We moved to a bungalow 18 months ago as stairs were a big issue ...best move we ever made its got lots of cunning space even though its only a two bedroom bungalow ,, there are three of us.... But it has a conservatory and a loft conversion for my son to have as a music room ... I don't go up there but my son was so pleased to have his own room that wasnt a bedroom he cleans it himself
What an adventure! I love moving house, which is just as well, as I have lived a very nomadic existence. Very best wishes for your health and comfort in your new home. When's the house-warming - we'll all come!
Good luck Lucy, hope the move makes life considerably more easy for you. It sounds like you're doing the right thing, so I wish you much happiness when you get settled in.

Hi
It will be a wrench at first after 26 years but life should never be stagnant and we should embrace change, Good luck I wish you health and happiness in your new home.
Good luck Lucy, glad you're leaving in happy times, our court date for reposession is in August so I'm going to have to be strong for that, take care and best of luck in your new house xxxxx gentle hugs xxx
So sorry to hear this Claire. I cant begin to imagine how that feels. I wish you lots of luck for the future. Im a big believer in fate, so this could be a blessing in disguise, tho it wont seem like a blessing right now. Sending warm fluffy hugs.xx
Good luck Lucy, i hope your new home will bring you lots of joy and an easier life. My daughter is now "grown and flown" so I moved from a house to a bungalow in April, which i was very lucky to get. I love it ( and so does my little dog, Jack). I found steps and stairs a problem so I decided to do something about it while i still can, and did a mutual exchange. I call it "investing in my future". xx
Very best of luck, I'd say it's exciting but a bit scary, we moved 12yrs ago after raising our children to mid teens in our old house, I was excited but apprehensive but it is the best thing we did and feels like we've always been here. It is a two storey semi though and I envy you moving to a bungalow I wish you many happy years in your new home xx
