So you'd think that entitled me to a day off from the pain and fatigue. BUT NO!!! feel just as crap as usual, and to top it all my 16yr old daughter came home from work and had a melt down. Other half thinks that she's jealous of the attention i have been getting.
love to all

Hey Sharon, extra special, soft and gentle hugs for your 40th! ( I can barely recall my 40th ) - I hope your evening is happy and as relaxed as possible sweetheart. I always order in my Chinese - though it's been a while - Maybe tomorrow!
Happy 40th Birthday, welcome to the 40's club lol. Hope your Daughter is feeling better soon. Enjoy your chinese, and the rest of the evening. Best wishes hunni. Big hug & love to you. Helen xxx
A few thoughts as I work with teenagers: I am thinking that, maybe your daughter isn't coping with your not getting better. After all it is a big concept and bad enough for us as adults to come to terms with. She may be frightened and unable to express herself, especially as she probably has things going on in her life which she may feel she can't discuss? Just some thoughts which may be wrong.
I have two daughters and both react to stress in different ways. When I was seriously ill having had a pulmonary emobilsm and stiil had pleurisy my youngest became very caring, but my eldest shut herself away in her room. Its just she could not cope, not did not care.
A little comfort after laying that on you just when you feel bad, teenagers grow out of it and can become your best friends. So don't give up on her.
So try and enjoy your birthday - or postpone it until tomorrow and hope its a better day for you. Really bad luck to have a bad day on THE day.
Hi thanks for your thoughts. She's just being a typical teenager, wanting to be centre of attention!!!! As expressing herself, she has no problems on that front!! lol

Someone told me the other day that the years between 40 and 50 fly by, if they had been in front of me rather than on the phone i wouldn't have been responsible for my actions!!!!! xx
Happy birthday! Try and get some feet up time. I know its hard when you are a busy Mum. Don't over do it when you start to feel better!!!! Enjoy your 40th year its a nice age (know its not easy with all the pain you go through). Be pampered and don't feel guilty.
