Endo and FET protocol

Hi,

I was hoping to get some advice regarding a FET protocol for stage 4 endometriosis/adenomyosis. We had our egg collection last week and due to extent of my endo/endometriomas on both ovaries and low AMH I only had two follicles after stims which produced one egg. We had ICSI and now have a day 5, 1:1 graded embryo for the freezer which I’m very grateful for. The plan is to complete a frozen transfer to help my body recover from the stims and we are looking at November for transfer now.

Is there anything anyone would suggest to do differently or to ask our clinic about in regard to a FET with my conditions to help improve our chances of implantation? This is our first round so any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi! I have endo and had to go for FET because I became over stimulated after egg retrieval. I haven't had success yet but I've been doing lots of research and it sounds like an anti inflammatory diet and/or supplements is the way to go, so I'm focusing on that. Hope this helps and best of luck xx

Thank you for your response and sorry to hear you haven’t had any success yet. Best of luck for your next try.

I try to follow an anti inflammatory diet to manage my pain with the endo already and currently taking proceive max women, vitamin d and omega 3. I will discuss with my clinic regarding any other additional supplements that may be helpful at this stage xx

Hi Mim9, I think a longer period of down-regulation is usually helpful for endometriosis using prostap or zoladex for a few months before taking the progynova to prepare the lining for a FET. I don’t know a lot about it though. I had surgery for early stage endometriosis and also had 9 fibroids removed and then down-regulated with Buserelin before a FET. Best of luck.

Thank you for your response. I had surgery back in February but unfortunately they were unable to tackle the extent of my endo and since then my cysts and the pain have come back. I will look into the different options of down regulation as you have suggested and hopefully this may help.
