Wondered if anyone could give me reassurance / their experience.
I'm on day 9 of my cycle, started progynova (3x2mg) on day 2. I have been for a scan today and advised my lining is 7.5mm and has the tri lines thing they look out for, sorry forgot the correct name.
At my scan earlier initial my nurse said about maybe starting the progesterone on Sunday with the aim to do a transfer on Thursday or that it could be pushed a little later as the clinic likes you to have 11 days of progynova before starting pessaries and that no further scans would be needed. When checking my follicles some were showing at 10mm but she said they didn't appear recruited.
After her meeting with consultants I got a call advising they will scan me on Monday again, but recommended doing OPKs Sunday am/pm and Monday am to make sure I don't get a rise.
This has worried me a little and I feel that surely would this show on the scan on Monday? OPKs make me so anxious and have had to do a manic next day Amazon order.
Also worried that even if they say all is fine Monday then due to the clinic not doing transfer on a weekend they would not be able to do my transfer till Monday which would be day 19. Is this late in a cycle for a day 5 FET?
Has anyone every ovulated when on progynova? Also getting EWCM but have seen on older posts that this can be normal and not necessarily a sign of ovulation?
Thanks in advance

Both my FETs were on day 19, first resulted in my daughter, second was an early miscarriage. That timing is standard at my clinic, first scan is on day 12, transfer day 19, assuming lining is ok. Good luck!
Also meant to say that my clinic also give medication to prevent ovulation, as well as oestrogen. The oestrogen does cause ewcm though, so don’t let that worry you
Thank you so much for your reply and reassurance re timeline and EWCM, I'm sorry to hear of the second resulting in an early miscarriage. I know I'm overthinking it and worrying as it's my first FET, realistically day 19 would be right for a day 5 blast as I would normally ovulate on day 14. Do you remember what the other medication was that you were given to stop ovulation?
Thank you. I have had fyremadel in the past, different brand but same drug (ganerelix?) for my upcoming cycle. I start it on day 2 of my cycle, same as oestrogen, and take for 7 days.
I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. Did you track your lh beforehand to know you ovulated? Or was it noticed at a scan, could they see your follicles had grown?
My lining is slightly thinner than it was on the same day in my fresh cycle. I only had bemfola and cetrotide and I don't think any of those were to help with lining.
I'm just so worried an embryo would be thawed and then it's realised at the scan and they won't go ahead.
My nurse advised if you ovulate naturally they have to cancel the cycle as the womb lining will breakdown
they said my follicles were small but I’d had ewcm the day before then I had positive LH that night and I was tracking bbt which went up 2 days after so I did ovulate. But the transfer was already cancelled because lining was 3mm and I was spotting.
You have another scan before transfer day right? And day 19 is the right time it’s typically day 17-20.
I have a scan Monday coming, day 12 of cycle and after that the earliest they could do a day 5 transfer is the following Monday as they don't open weekends. I think they only plan to actually scan on the day of the transfer but I'm guessing the embryo will be thawed then.
I may ask for a scan on Friday next week, just to feel sure
Ah okay, so I would likely start that on Wednesday if I was having a transfer the following Monday.
Thank you for answering my questions and easing concerns, I feel like such a novice, didn't really look into FET much as was so hopeful for fresh transfer as I'm sure we all are.
Thought I'd got past the point of dreaded LH tests. Thanks again
It sounds like you’re on a high dosage of estrogen. I took 2 progynova and wore a patch and have never ovulated on this protocol. Day 19 is absolutely fine to do FET, it’s usually day 18-19. Wishing you all the best on your journey x
