Progynova estrogen and ovulation

Hi all

I've been taking progynova since cycle day 4 ready for my first fet. I usually ovulate on day 13 and I'm now in day 16 and no sign. I'm going for a scan tomorrow so will see what that shows but just wondered if any of you had had delayed ovulation when taking estrogen? Thanks xx

Hi,

As far as I know, you are not suppose to ovulate when you are on eostrogen tablet. It shuts down the ovary and replaces the oestrogen the ovary is supposed to produce.

However, I'm familiar with starting it's use on the first day of your cycle, so my question is did your doctor tell you that you will ovulate?

Yes they told me to use ovulation sticks to test for it and then transfer would be 6 days after. They have said if I don't they can give me a hsg shot instead. Thanks

Hi Diane. The cycle has been cancelled as lining isn't thick enough and I don't seem to be near ovulation. Try again next month. Thanks x
