So I got my BFP from an NHS FET on Sunday woohoo! I am on oestrogen (elleste) and progesterone (utrogestan 200mg x3 a day) with them. I have also been having my immune system treated with a private clinic. The day of my transfer the private clinic tested my progesterone and said it was low adding 1 Lubion injection a day. I went to the private clinic yesterday (10dp5dt) to test my beta/hcg and progesterone. My hcg was 190 which they were happy with but they said my progesterone was really low (didn’t say the number but they were very worried) that’s even with the utrogestan and Lubion which has freaked me out a bit. They’ve told me to carry on with the utrogestan, lose the Lubion and have started me on 1 injection of prontogest (progesterone in oil intramuscular injections). I’m going back again tomorrow to repeat the beta/hcg and progesterone blood tests. Anyone have any advice for how to get my progesterone up even more or any success stories of people that have had low progesterone and had a successful pregnancy? We were over the moon with our BFP after so many years of trying and now the progesterone has cast a bit of a dark cloud on it. Hellllp!

Hi GJW2018 congratulations on your positive. I had low progesterone with my postive and what my doctor did was increase ny progesterone dosage and it went up. I was doing the oil progesterone i think 1 cc and then they increase to 1.5 then finally to 1 .7. I am now 24 weeks pregnant with twins. So good luck and it should increase so dont worry.

Hi GJW2018 Try not to stress too much - keep doing what the clinic says Eat healthfully- there is natural progesterone in some foods ie beans , broccoli ,brussels sprouts ,cabbage ,kale, nuts ,pumpkin ,spinach , whole grain .Thinking of you
Janet
Congrats! Hope your well What immune issues did you get tested my clinic don’t think I need an iv fluids but put me on lubion on day of transfer. I was thinking of going to a place in bham who provide intravenous drips for immune issues but didn’t want to mess anything up this time round x
We had a full panel of tests as I have had issues with inflammation in the past and found that my TH1 alpha was imbalanced and my NK cells were elevated. I’ve been having intralipid infusions and taking hydroxychloroquine and am currently 21 weeks! I would definitely get the blood test done, it goes to Chicago so is quite expensive but worth it as you don’t want to treat with a drip unnecessarily xx
Ohh congrats I thought it was an endo biopsy and blood test combined that goes to chicago? Xx
