My clinic called today (I had FET yesterday and checked progesterone before the transfer). My levels came back low! 12.4 and what I've been told it should be 20 the lowest. I am waiting for my clinic to give me some progesterone injections to take daily. But I am freaking out if that's mean that it's too late now and my transfer will fail because of this low progesterone when I am already on the pessaries?
Did any of you had successful transfer/pregnancy when had low progesterone on the day of the transfer or should I prepare for the worst?

Hi. Hormones are a nuisance at romes, but try not to worry, as the clinic will soon beontop of them. Just a blip I think, so hopefully all will ne on track soon. Good luck. Diane
hey! I had low progesterone on day of transfer too. I was prescribed Prontogest injections and they honestly did the trick! First BFP 😊 still early days at 8 weeks or so, but so far, so good 🤞🏻 I hope the same happens for you 💗
Thank you 😊 I’m feeling okay, but the more I say it out loud to people the more nervous I get that I’m jinxing it 😬 the 7 week scan went well, and I’m trying to keep reminding myself of that. I’ll be 9 weeks on Saturday! Just wishing to make it to the next benchmark of 12 weeks. It’s such an emotional rollercoaster - all of it xx
Everything will be just as it should be! I learnt with time that it doesn't matter if you tell everybody or no one jinx don't have a power over us! take it day by day, week by week and you will meet your miracle baby
My one was very similar to yours, only doctors said that it should be no lower than 30. I was on 3 Cyclogest pessaries a day which wasn’t enough. The nurse told me to increase to 6 pessaries a day, but I still felt deep down that it’s not enough. Booked another blood test 3 days after the transfer and yes i was then still on a low side - 22.3. Then the nurse prescribed extra progesterone- 1 lubion on top of 6 pessaries. But i think this was loo late… didn’t work out for me that time.
Fingers crossed for you, hopefully it will work this time.
Thank you for sharing and sorry it didn't work for you better, I asked my clinic if I need to repeat blood test to see if progesterone went up but they said that there is no need...
Hi Glaedy, I tested low (7) the day after my transfer (late in testing because their machine broke on my transfer day) and only got prescribed Lubion injections more than 24 hours after my transfer. Embryo still implanted but unfortunately at my 8 week scan it showed a blighted ovum which is caused from genetic issues and not low progesterone. So you still have a chance. Wishing you all the best Xxx
Oh I'm so sorry for your transfer outcome, it is so unfair. I promised myself that I will be good this time, not overthink etc but I already am doing so 🤦♀️ cramps - oh no, af is coming, no cramps - something is wrong, did it not stick, or stopped developing 🙈 2ww is so exhausting
Thanks, it was very devastating but managed to keep going. Recently had my 5th transfer and urine test today was negative so unfortunately we are still on this rollercoaster. I know those emotion so well, stressing over every symptom and when there’s no symptoms. It’s all so unfair! Wouldn’t wish this journey on anyone. But I do believe it’s a numbers game and you just have to keep going until luck/nature is on your side. Try keep as busy as you can and surround yourself with friends and family who are supportive. Wishing you all the best on your test day and hoping luck/nature is on your side Xxx
