low progesterone day of FET

hi all,

Just after some advice really. I had my bloods done yesterday before my transfer today and the progesterone level was at 29.9 they would like it to be around 30 so they were happy with that but said it was up to me if I wanted to add cyclogest, I am currently taking Lubion once a day.

Today I abs my bloods done again and the level dropped to 19.9. The transfer was still done and the doctor has now recommended that I definitely take the cyclogest too.

I’m worried that the transfer was done while my progesterone was low. Has anyone has success rate with this type of transfer?

I’m currently waiting for cyclogest pessaries at the pharmacy! will pop one in as soon as I get home!

Thanks in advance xx

Remember progesterone was only slightly lower and your taking your Lubion daily also now starting your pessaries to increase the levels

Good luck with treatment cycle

But I’ve started the pessaries now so fingers and toes crossed!!

Thanks for your reply xx

you might be anyway but if you can do the pessaries through the back door as I believe help absorb better

I have colitis so I can only take them vaginally. I’m actually thinking of having an extra Lubion injection in the morning in the hope of implantation occurring. So many different contradictions on the internet!

take the extra lubion cyclogest wasn’t working on me, I had same problem very low level so now I have to take a lot more lubion which is more effective.. try not to stress as Iv seen this befire wuth a isoline outcome x

thanks for your reply. I have another blood test on Friday, I will ring the clinic because if I take Lubion today twice I would also need to take it twice tomorrow and going forward.. but they wanted me to have the pessaries then decide if I need extra Lubion on Friday but I’m scared I may miss the implantation window..

good luck… personally o would just ring them to test your mind as it’s up to you unless they are paying for your meds xx

I have left them a message earlier and will try again in a bit. They are paying for the meds but previously when I’ve asked questions they’ve said it is up to me and not given me a direct answer as different docs have different views. xx

they called back and advised me to take the extra Lubion. So now I’m on Lubion and cyclogest twice a day. Blood test also booked in for tomorrow 🤞🏽

Hi, I got my progesterone tested the day after my positive result (10dpt) and it was 24. That was with just utrogestan pessaries, I then added a daily lubion injection and it went up to 125. So you can still fall pregnant with low levels like I did and it was a successful pregnancy x
