Hi - I had a small polyp removed in September and was told could have transfer right away on next cycle. Had to skip the next cycle though due to being too late to book a transfer in. Finally had my transfer once polyp free on 16th Nov and now got a faint line 8dp6dt, so really hoping it did the trick! The hysteroscopy itself was absolutely fine, tho I recommend you have pain relief if not standard for your clinic. Hope all goes well for you! 💖🙂

Hi Jade, I've had a cyst removed and its a different procedure to polyp removal. Are you having key hole surgery to remove it? I had a huge one removed many years ago. With polyp removal your not in surgery its like having a smear done but more painful so they give you an anesthetic. Hope your wait isn't too long when did you get referred? Xxxx

Hi! I had multiple polyps removed before my FET. The procedure went very smoothly and I really didn’t have any pain at all after. I was super paranoid that my body needed a lot of time to heal before the transfer, but the doctor was confident that I only needed a few weeks. I’m so glad that I did the removal, even though it added additional time, before the transfer, because the transfer of one embryo worked! And I now have a three week old son.I hope that this helps a little!

Hello! I had my polyp removed privately a couple of years ago. It bled when they did a mock transfer. The procedure was painless for me. They put me to sleep and before I knew it, it was done!

It was a seamless procedure for me and since then, I immediately stopped haemorrhaging blood whenever I had my period.

I was then good to go on the next cycle.

Best wishes

😊
