Recent blood work, raised eosinophil count!
I'm going for a nasal
polyp
removal
operation next week (Private) and I needed a blood test and cardioelectrogram prior. There were some minor values 0.01 up or down on 2 or 3 values mostly inflammation indicators.

Ferritin and TSI results.
I intend to go back on the iron following
polyp
removal
on Friday. It is possible that the bowel
polyp
was bleeding and I’m hoping things will normalise in time. Could you please advise me on the dosage of iron bisglycinate for this level of ferritin?

Don't want to go back on the pill/more surgeries! Deep infiltrating endo on bowel and uterine polyp removed recently for heavy bleeding.
I want to give the natural method one more try, but I am scared the polyps will grow back again and cause another bleeding episode that requires blood transfusion and
polyp
removal
surgery.

Has anyone here discovered they have endometriosis/and or adenomyosis at a later stage in life? Just found out at 50!
I have had endless US scans, recurring polyps removed via hysteroscopy (4 times) and also
polyp
removal
also via day surgery. I have struggled with anaemia for years due to the heavy bleeding and last year my ferritin levels plummeted to just 3 and I had to beg for an infusion.

IVF - First Round Fail
The following calls on Day 3 and Day 5 confirmed that the embryo quality was poor and wouldn’t be suitable for freezing - I was devastated I am due to be seen by the Gynaecologist next week regarding my
polyp
removal
but also to discuss possible endometriosis as I suffer with chronic pelvic pain -

⁷Private costs for polyp removal
I However, one must have a polyp removed first to prevent the embryo attaching to the
polyp
. The wait list for
polyp
removal
under NHS is 2 to 3 years., which of course is not feasible as I'm not getting any younger.

Adenomyosis, should I have hysterectomy?
The short version is that I have adenomyosis. I've always had heavy periods with period pains that make my thighs numb and require prescription painkillers. At the age of 44 I had some symptoms of perimenopause and tried HRT. After two years I came off and that seems to have triggered a strong reaction

Polyp removal results
Hi I had 2 polyps removed on Tuesday privately and have to wait for the test results from the lab to come back before we can progress with our cycle. I was just wondering if anyone had previously had this issue and how long their results took to come back. I am not normally an impatient person but

Huge polyp found - any success stories after polypectomy?
Hi everyone, Hope you are all doing okay. Please can I ask whether anyone has experienced a large polyp and polypectomy with positive outcomes? After four failed transfers and some mid cycle spotting, my fertility consultant recommended a hysteroscopy. He said he didn't expect to find anything as all

Is it worth getting a second opinion?
Hi there,My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 4 years and have been categorised as having unexplained infertility. I have an under active thyroid and I am currently trying to get my BMI down within the accepted level in order to be able to have IVF through the NHS. My husband has had two

Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy D&C polypectomy - Help!
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had the above procedures and whether this helped them get pregnant either naturally or through IVF? My gynaecologist has recommended the above but I’m worried it could make getting pregnant more difficult. Any success stories?? Thank you! x x

Steroid injection and surgery
Hi all , I'm just wondering if anyone knows how long you have to wait after steroid injection in the bottom before having gallbladder removal I've been told operation will be in 2 to 3 mths unless a cancellation comes in. But a friend said I'll have to wait 3mths now

Sorry another q. omeprazole and sulfasalazine
Hi all. Sorry for another question but the more I learn and am diagnosed with the more questions I have. I'm on omeprazole as well as many other meds. When I started sulfasalazine I asked a pharmacist what I could and could not take as the same time and one thing he said was omeprazole should be taken

Some advice please
Hi, I'm in surgical menopause and have not felt 'well' for a number of years now. I won't bore you with the backstory of my trials and tribulations with HRT, all in the pursuit of feeling well enough to fully function. I've questioned Thyroid for some time, I had tests last September and posted them

Turns out may have been gallstones but after gallbladder removal could have been both !
Hi all, hope you are keeping as well as is possible. so after ph test ( unpleasant) and established I had 2 gallstones after ultrasound I thought I had it cracked ! So opted for a gallbladder removal but tbh I was told that I could still have symptoms of acid reflux. Wondering if anyone has had

gallbladder removal
Hello, I had my gallbladder removed a week ago today (keyhole). Recovery from surgery has been an absolute breeze, other than I slept for 4 days solid; despite telling pre op nurse, anaesthetist, recovery and ward nurse that I have PA and B12 deficiency and reacted very badly to an anaesthetic 10 years
