Bit of history- 30 yrs old, TTC almost 4 years. Low AMH, MTHFR heterozygous, moderate elevated NK cells, mild DQ Gene match with hubby, mild endo removed, thyroxine for slightly elevated thyroid. 6 IVF stim cycles (never get many eggs). Iv never had a BFP not even a chemical or a mmc. I know it’s an implantation issue.
1# IVF -2 day 5 blasts 4AA frozen and 4AB transferred - BFN
2# IVF - 2 hatching blasts (slow, made to blast day 6) BC and BB - no transfer, both frozen
FET - Immune protocol (aspirin, prednisone) BC didn’t survive thaw, double Transfer BB and AA from first cycle - BFN
3# IVF- only 1 egg (had 4 didn’t release others) day 2 transfer -BFN
4# IVF - 1 day 5 blast (immune protocol clexane, prednisone, intralipids) - transfer BFN
5# IVF - cycle cancelled due to poor response to stims (only produced 1 follicle, fs thinks my cycles overlapped as were too close together)
5# IVF - 1 day 5 blast - chose to freeze not transfer
So all up 5 stims they resulting in egg collection, 4 transfers, 5 embies and still no BFP as well as trying naturally now the whole time too. I am seeing a reproductive immunologist for some of the auto immune issues.
I’m really starting to think that it’s never going to happen for us 😢 as nothing has ever implanted or even tried.
So my question is how many transfers either fresh or frozen did it take to get your first ever BFP?
Desperately needing some hope!

Hey. I am so sorry you have been through so much. How many transfers have you had now? I am guessing they have switched up your stim protocol?! I don’t have my bfp yet. Also 30. I did experience a chemical though on my fourth and last transfer. I think it is hard to be young and have it not work. Everyone thinks it is supposed to work for our age group. All I can say is I am still going. About to have my fifth transfer and I won’t give up, not yet. How do you feel with your clinician? Have you tried changing clinics? Have you had a hysteroscopy? An ERA?
I’m sorry you’ve had such crappy luck so far, have you been with the same clinic the whole time? If you have, I would definitely recommend at least talking to some other clinics as sometimes a fresh set of eyes can make a difference.
My history is not the same but I did find changing clinics was the game changer for me. I had three failed fresh rounds and had much better results on all fronts on my fourth round after changing clinics and trying a different approach. Our previous clinic was pretty old school, our new clinic is much more progressive.
Age 33 when started, now 35, also low AMH, hubby has motility issues.
1st round - Long protocol
Day 2 transfer of 2 embryos. Miscarriage at 6 weeks, nothing to freeze
2nd round - long protocol with intralipids, clexane and aspirin added.
Day 2 transfer of 2 embryos. BFN, nothing to freeze
3rd round - long protocol again with intralipids, clexane and aspirin added.
Day 5 transfer of 2 embryos, nothing to freeze.
Moved clinics. Removed all the extras, no intralipids, no clexane, no aspirin. Had karotyping and thrombophilia tests, all normal.
Round 4 - short protocol with PGS testing.
3 normal blastocysts and 28 weeks pregnant from 1st FET of those.
Happy to share clinic details if you’re interested, just pm me xxx
