Finally Cycle 2!!!

Cycle 2 starts today, starting with 9 days norethisterone. Scared myself stupid... Been taking dhea since about 13th September even though my clinic said I didn't need it. Not sure they've tested me for dhea or testosterone though. Thing is, I've been desperatea to improve quality. I have high amh with no underlying cause. I got 18 eggs first cycle but only 3 made it to day 5. Blamed myself as you might imagine. I'm now so scared as I've read dhea can be detrimental to those with pcos. I don't have pcos but I have high amh like those with pcos. I'm in two minds to stop taking dhea as I don't want a wasted cycle but at the same time if they could help egg quality.. . 🙈

Having endometrial scratch today too as I'm literally doing everything and anything that could help like many before me.

I'm taking melatonin, high strength coq10, vits D, c and e, inofolic (myoinsitol) and omega 3 whereas first cycle I was only on folic acid. So desperate for this cycle to work and bank as many good embies as possible. I did long protocol first time, antagonist thus Time. All different meds too. Also persuaded my clinic to do imsi instead of icsi to hopefully identify better sperm x

So sick of dealing with friends and family who must do get it, no matter how hard they try and i know it’s well meaning but they all still make me feel crap one way or another 🤦🏻‍♀️ really hope this round goes smoothly for you. We’re hoping for 3rd time lucky with this transfer and genuinely don’t want to think about how ill feel if it doesn’t work, feel utterly broken by this already! xx

Totally, i get a lot of ‘i hope this will work for you’ and even that just makes me mad cos i’m like fat lot of good ‘hope’ does, if babies were conceived through hope i’d have a bloody football team right now 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I know they’re saying it because they care and feel helpless, but I just think that’s easy for you to say sitting there all pregnant or with a baby in your arms - I don’t want your fucking hope, I want my baby so if you can’t make that happen then just fuck off 😡 I am turning into a horrible person ...

No I totally understand. I cry when I see pregnant women or baby clotges in the shops. I fell out with a girl in work who flaunts her pregnancy every opportunity when she knows about my ivf and have been craving a baby for years. Then there was her big gender reveal so I told her how insensitive she was. She already has a son and I have zero children. I think we've every right to feel upset and frustrated x
