Hiya!! I have a continuous thin lining, and last month my lining reached 6.4mm day 11 and then i had another scan (lining went down to 4.6mm sadly day19) & a blood test which had resulted in showing my body was ovulating so going against the 4x progynova i was on. Now im on 5x progynova and my lining is 6.1mm on day11 and im back for another scan on friday hoping to see an increase in my lining (thankfully my ovaries are quiet so the estrogen is working!!) My triple layer is big and bold and looks perfect, my lining has only ever gone to 6.4mm maximum - SO has anyone ever had a FET with a lining under the 7mm recommended lining measure?? Please advise because on friday if theres an increase even a slight from 6.1 myself and hubby have decided we want to proceed with the transfer - thanks 😌

No advice but hoping those extra few days make all the difference for you and that you’re able to go ahead with fet 🍀 xx
Hi Robynl,
Sorry you are going through this. I do not have an advice from personal experience. However if you have never had a transfer or FET done before, I will go with what you and oh has decided to do. Let them give it a try as this IVF process can be a trial and error thing.
Also if they insist on cancelling it. I will suggest you tell them to let you do a natural FET. That might help with your lining.
Worst still, maybe they should use ostrogen patch with the tablet instewd of just increasing estrogen as ibjabe read that aome women respond better to the patch.
Although, I'm usually concerned about use of high dosage ostrogen because of some of its side effect.
I wish you the best of luck at your next scan.
I've just posted the below on another Ladies post:
I have been in this exact situation. (Have a look at my previous posts) my last 3 transfers have all been cancelled due to this. I begged the clinic to let me try a natural cycle as they are reluctant with older women to do this, however they agreed at the beginning of Jan. I had to wait for my bleed as that was a cancelled cycle and then wait for my next full period. Since Jan I've lost over a stone, stated walking approx 25miles a week, stated on l'argine, selenium, vitamin b, e, and folic acid, and went back to my original accupuncturist. I had a scan on Sat and my lining was 7.5mm! Which is brilliant for me, going back on wed to check it again as my other issue is that it shrinks later in the cycle. I truly believe letting me go natural, losing the weight and walking every day had really helped me this time. Been trying since November to get to transfer, and all have been 4&5mm, just know my body hates being overloaded with fake drugs and gathered that as I've been pregnant naturally several times (although miscarried them all) my body somehow knows what it needs to do xx
Hi RobynL,
I hope it works for you. I have had lining issue myself (still unresolved), my clinic told me if I manage to reach 6mm I could do an ERA test (endometrial receptivity array test) to check whether the lining is receptive in spite of being relatively thin. It's not cheap (if you are paying yourself), around £900, though - but perhaps you could look into it? You can google it and find more information about it.
Very best wishes and good luck to you!!! xx
