Update- endometrium too thin atm

Had a scan today. I’ve been on nafarelin and taking 10mg progynova each day for 10 days. Today my lining was 6.4mm so I have to wait now and have another scan on Monday. They’ve taken me off Nafarelin and I have Evorel patches to use from now until my Monday scan. Fingers crossed that progress is made over the weekend. Earliest transfer date has been moved to Feb 26th. X

I wouldn’t worry my lining takes around 14 days of medication before it’s >7mm so you really aren’t too far off at all! xx

As 1st post says not far off 7mm or ever chance lining will be nicely thicken by the time you are scanned on Monday Also be sure to eat well[reg meals - plenty of fibre - eggs - leafy veg ]-drink plenty of fluids [ but reduce caffeine levels try fruit teas or de- caff tea /coffee] and have some daily exercise [yoga ,walking ,swimming ]

Good luck with treatment cycle

I’m doing all the above. I have to take 2 of my progynova vaginally and I think maybe they aren’t really dissolving properly. They are such a pain to insert because they are tiny and slide back out 😂. Then I end up with them really low! I put one on the end of a tampon at one point because I clearly have far too much space up there!!

Have you tried resting with feet up or a rest in bed after inserting them - this might make a difference

No, I’ll try this though. It’s the only place I can think of where I could be going wrong. I have visions of me advancing to a shoulder stand soon!

best of luck- mine took something like 18 days to get to. 6.7mm but they were happy with triple lining and blood flow and so we went for it. Some people just take a little more time. 🤞🏼🤞🏼x

They said I had a triple lining and all looked good, that I just needed a few more days xx

hi lovely , i hope you're well. don't worry too much about it, our clinic likes to see at least 7 mm on cycle day 10 for a transfer to go ahead 5 days later. You're very close to that mark now, make sure you go for walks to keep blood flowing, and perhaps try the beetroot, pomegranate etc? Another lady i speak to in here told me on her successful transfer she had around 5mm. Fingers crossed it will all be fine for you, all the best of luck!

I will try the beetroot/pomegranate. I’m already very active but can add in some walking 🙌🏻. I’m feeling okay about it, dr wasn’t remotely phased.

Evorel patches did wonders for my endometrium within days. I was in the same boat as yours before my transfer on the 5th of February. I was 6.5 but immediately after evorel patches it got to 9.6 and we had the transfer immediately.

Morning,

Have you looked at castor oil packs? I currently have one on ahead of my final scan later today. My lining in my last cycle only made it to 6.2mm but after reintroducing castor oil packs it had increased to 8.8mm on Tuesday. My Fertility masseuse recommended them as they increase blood flow to the ovaries and womb. They're really easy to make at home, I just use a muslin cloth, cling film and a hot water bottle.

Wishing you all the luck for your transfer xx

No I haven’t but if my lining hasn’t thickened at the scan tomorrow I’m willing to give this a try x

Hi! Sorry to jump on this thread but I’m interested in the castor oil packs. Probably a stupid question but Where abouts do you put it? Just below the tummy button or…? 🙈

Thanks! X

Hey,Yeah I just laid it across the lower part of my stomach for about 45 mins every few days x

hey, so I was also on hormones but they ended up thinning my lining so we had to move to a natural cycle! Just a heads up incase !

Probably a silly question but can you do a natural cycle if you’ve done ICSI. I know my lining gets thick enough on its own so I’d be up for trying that if this cycle fails.

Hello. I know I'm late with this post, but I'm in the exact same boat now, so just curious to know if the stopping Nefarelin and adding Progynova vaginally did in the end increase your endo lining?

Hi,

Yes it did work and I had the transfer. It got up to 8.6mm if I recall correctly.

Best of luck! X
