i'm due for embryo transfer tomorrow or possibly sunday, but in absolute agony with an old shoulder injury which has decided to rear its ugly head this week of all weeks!
have barely slept since tuesday 😜been for a deep tissue massage (which i feel has aggravated it more) and have chiropractor appt his afternoon - hoping she can work a miracle as i doubt they'll treat me post transfer.
am convinced i'll be so exhausted by transfer that i'll ruin my chances.
paracetamol have made zero impact & i know i'm not allowed ibuprofen - can anyone advise what might help?
so sorry for the sleep deprived rant.
high fives to all you superwomen ✨

Aw noodles!!! That's all you need!!! I hope you can get something to ease it soon! Heat packs, hot baths up until transfer, lots of rest even if you can't sleep. Have a chat with your clinic so they're aware, they might be able to offer further reassurance. Hope you're feeling better soon x x x
No bath before transfer?! Oh no!! I find it so strange that they're all so different! Oh bless you I wish I could help! I'm good thank you, had a lovely day out, going home for a nap haha x x x
Have you tried Accupuncture? I recommend you go to YingSeng Accupuncture clinic (Kensington Hig St) near High St Kensington before transfer to relax. It totally helped me rid myself of pain and stress within two hours of being at home and my moods changed immediately too. Don't let them tell you to have more sessions, have the one ☝🏽 and see how it goes. I swear by it! Good luck my Transfer buddy! I had my Transfer today and currently in bed relaxing like a queen 👸🏻 all the best of luck and positivity for this coming weekend! 🤞🏼🤗🦄🦄🦄⭐️✨✨✨✨✨✨ #YOUCANDOTHIS
i had months of traditional chinese acupuncture last year (in an attempt to conceive naturally) but i should consider the above for pain relief - it's always better to have recommendation.
hope you're resting that lovely unicorn & keeping cosy.
thanks tug girl - my wheat bag has become my best friend all week, although chiropractor said heat can cause extra inflammation - of course i'd do the wrong thing!
hope you're keeping well - sending lots of positive vibes ✨✨✨
So sorry to hear this noodles! I'm with tugsgirl on the hottie suggestion, you can also buy pads that heat up and you stick on that you could try? (Worth checking the box to see if any restrictions for preg people). Hope it eases off very soon xx
