ovarian cyst 10 weeks after hysterectomy

hello,

long shot here but I feel stuck!

I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy 10 weeks ago and left my ovaries..

at the time of the surgery a large cyst was removed from my left ovary.

I had a hematoma 10 days after and spent a further 3 days in hospital.

I had a scan at the time and was discharged with a follow up scan 6 weeks later.

had my scan over the weekend to be told there’s another large cyst on my left ovary that will require further investigation…

Anyone had similar and what was the process?

I’ve got my follow up surgery app in may.

Hi

When you had the hysterectomy did they remove Endo elsewhere as well? That’s important.

I don’t know much about cysts apart from Endo related. I’m assuming they left ovaries because of your age. It’s worth checking what biopsies were done, if they did anything with the previous cyst.

Think it said endo was only present in my uterus. Which was removed.

I had a womb ablation 5 years ago and endo removed at that time.

Yeah it’s all endo related.

And left my ovaries because of age.

Histology results were all normal other than endo.
