Prostap 2nd injection

hi so I am on my second prostap injection and it’s the 3 monthly ones.. my second one I had yesterday and I was a week over due.. it’s been 3/4 weeks my fatigue is really bad I have endometriosis and adenomyosis confirmed.. awaiting a partial hysterectomy where I’m keep my ovaries .. I just want to ask is the fatigue this and normal? I’m constantly tired every day no matter how good I sleep the night before .. also I above been having brown gunk discharge over the last few days is that bcoz the injection had ran out and was over due … any advice would help thanks x

Hi Sara i had mine 1st one in Octobwr and dont remember being fatigue. Having said that i was in the hospital at the time feeling really poorly with raptured cyst that was 11 cm. My 2nd injection due on 30th December. Hope you are feeling better.

Hey maybe it just varies from person to person but I am a lot better than last week and I hope my levels stay up

What I have noticed with me is that i cry a lot. I just cant stop crying. They have given mi in addition to tablets that I take every day a patch. Its only been a,few days but i hope it helps.

Hi, sorry to hear you're struggling with fatigue. I've been on prostab monthly injections for the last 2 years. I suffer with terrible fatigue, to the point I will get home from work sit on the sofa and fall asleep with a coffee in my hand. My husband has had to take things off me many times. It's like I hit a brick wall.I am currently 2 weeks away from excision surgery and a full hysterectomy, and for a change am suffering with insomnia!

I hope you don't have to wait too long for your op x

thanks for your reply so I guess it is a thing then mine is really bad aswell

I’m on the list for a surgery aswell just a waiting game now
