Hi

For those of you who have had it, got my second injection today, next one due in 4 weeks but surgery closed , due to the holidays, so my options are, get it 2 days before I'm due to or two days after, which is better.

Hi mama1, I doubt 2 days will make a difference either way but i'd probably choose 2 days before.

Hi, I also agree that it doesn't really make much difference. I have had 5 prostap injections now. My first injection was about a week after starting my period due to a mix up at my surgery. I was concerned this would affect me but GP said all would be fine and I haven't had any problems so 2 days before or after, either option would be fine I would think.

I'd go for before - if the symptoms come back you'll know about it :-(

in my zoldaex leaflet it says to not have it sooner than 28 days, so i go for after

It won't leave your system for at least a month after your last injection, so 2 days late won't be a problem.
