Hi, I am 21 years old and have been suffering with Endometriosis for 10 years now (although I was diagnosed in 2021). I have been on Prostap injections and Tibolone HRT since July 2021 as previous to this I was wheelchair bound on 3 occasions due to the severity of the pain and nothing else worked. Prostap has been a life saver and has allowed me to live my life. However, in November I started to get really bad hip pain in my right hip, but it subsided after a few weeks and an x-ray and ultrasound was completed on it and nothing was found. Then a couple of weeks ago, it came back but this time it is not fading. I take naproxen and co-codamol however this doesn't fully relieve the pain and wears off quite quickly, leaving me in pain and unable to walk properly. I am on the waiting list for physio and have an appointment at the end of the month, but the pain is beginning to ruin everything again and I don't know what it could be or how to help it.
I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what this pain could be and why? Thank you in advance!

I was diagnosed through past surgeries and reactions to medication but I don’t know how severe my endo is unfortunately. I had a laraposcopy to remove the adhesions too.
Hiya, so I had something very similar. I was completely unable to weight bear due to the pain in my left hip. It turned out I had a fracture in the neck of my femur due to low bone density - I was 24 at the time, I’m wondering if you have anything similar? I saw and Endo post on hip pain the other day, let me try and find it for you xx

If you have Instagram, head to @endometriosissummit page, and it’s the 19 post back.
ahh ok, thank you so much! I am worried it’ll be due to low bone density, I had a Bone Density scan yesterday so hopefully it’d be picked up on that🤞 Thank you for the instagram post too!
Please don’t worry - it’s amazing you’ve had the scan, fingers crossed all is ok - and if not there’s treatment. Just try rest and trust they’ll find an answer and all will be ok ☺️ x
