Does anyone have any suggestions for easing hip pain. I've been in agony for the last few days and it's shooting down my legs and through my pelvis. The pain is constant and nothing seems to help.

Have you tried a tens belt you can get them in boots it works by disrupting the pain signals? X
Hi.
Have you seen the Dr?
I have the same problem, I'm trying to sort out the reason for this, the Dr thinks it could be endo still ( I had a laparoscopy in February ), sciatica, or a problem with my hip, so thinks I should have an X-ray.
Have you been told the cause of this pain??
I have so many different pain killers which I take, I also use hot water bottles.

Hi Blondia, thanks for your message. I have seen the doctor so many times and I'm waiting for an appointment with a gastro doctor after having a lap last September and the gynae saying she'd sorted the 'internal bleeding' she'd found between my uterus and bowel. She said aside from this, there was no sigs of any endo and that the pain must be because of bowel reasons.
The pain is constant and I'm in agony around the time of my period.
Trying to decide whether I should see another gynae as I really don't see how the pain around my ovaries and in my lower abdomen, back and hips can be bowel related?
Actually when I saw the consultant, she said that she thinks my pain and spasms are bowel related? She said I should take a fybrogel drink each day. Who knows, there might be a connection, but like you I really can't see how the pain is connected.
Let's see what your Dr says.

I'm not taking it. It's orange flavour and I'm allergic to orange.
I bought myself a Nutribullet , so I'm making myself drinks with lots of fibre in every day.
The pain hasn't gone!

I saw a GP ay my surgery who used to work in gynea at a previous hosp, she gave me stronger painkillers that have helped my hip pain.
I do have surgery in 3 weeks to remove a cyst and look for endo, but my endo support group did say hip pain is related to endo, so i would go back and push you GP and see a different gynea.
