Period time and operation 😩

Hi all

I am due a laparoscopic procedure next week and it is the time of the month. I am worried it will happen on the day. I have been told of a pill that can delay my period, should I take this. Or can the procedure be done whilst on a period?

I cannot delay the operation I have waited 4 years.

I had mine done 3 months ago, i was also on my period. They said it's fine.Good luck with your op x

Same here, I was also on my period and the surgeon said it was fine. Good luck, and I hope you a speedy recovery x

I just had mine on Monday n was also on n it was fine xxJust dont wear a tampon x

Hi You could take 5 days of your pill to delay your period if you want to have the op,

It,s okay to do that for an short span - try not to worry as know the waiting 4 yrs

for this op is about average for us ladies with Endo.

Good luck, taken time for your body to recover try not to rush it,stay safe,stay as calm

as you can- as stress will not help in your current dilema
