I had my laparoscopy a month ago and have a lot of pelvic pain even after one month taking two co codamol three times a day but still have stool leak and anal pain.are these normal symptoms after surgery 😢

I had much pelvic pain also. Drink lots of cranberry juice and possibly antibiotics for a UTI. And we are done with getting dismissed. I’d call my doctor and say FIX THE LEAK. That’s unacceptable.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Hang in there.

I had my laparoscopy a month ago and having pelvic pain even after surgery, stool leaks,bleeding from vagina called my gp but they are waiting for my follow up appointment from Oxford hospital any help how can I reach them?or what can I do as I am still in too much pain ,house bound unable to do much.please help me

Stop the Co-codamol! You have constipation and overflow diarrhoea! And that’s what is causing your pain! Take some laxatives! Xx

It’s a juggle. Pain management versus getting the inflammation down. Ask your GP for either Laxicido or Movicol rather than actual laxatives. Use them while you come off the pain killers and get the inflammation down.

Pain killers have different pathways but alter inflammatory pathways not necessarily for the better either. ( note paracetamol and omega pathways ) I’ve found drinking sufficient water, flax seed and chia seed ground into natural yogurt to repopulate my gut , home veg soups weaning off painkillers helpful. Tens, omega 3 and antioxidants like Reservatoral,NAC , quercitin with bromelian all helped with the pain and work to take down the inflammation ( it took around two weeks to really kick in whilst I reduced the pain relief ) Mobilising little and often . Pain can come from where the whole abdo area has been stretched with surgical gas and took 6 weeks to clear for me.

urgent help needed!! I am in too much pelvic pain and lower back pain was on cocodomol but it doesn't helps me so at night I called 111 and they booked for me a visit appointment at hospital but I was unable to even stand and make a visit to emergency hospital. so I preferred to stay at home and took one brufen with omeprazole capsule which I had at home .for weekend the gp's are closed kindly help me how to manage pain at home.

hello I had my surgery on 10th of February it is almost two months now and still having lots of pain ,vaginal discharge with blood, lower back pain can't even move .Any suggestions please to ease this pain ,feeling very low and depressed, can't do much as I get tired soon.

You need to go to be medically assessed. There maybe a number of reasons for the pain including infection.

I am tired now going and asking medicine i had brufen and omeprazole at home so was taking that since morning. I don't feel gud going outside not even hospital and doctors please help me i don't know why even after surgery I am so so unwell should I need to wait or do something my body and my mind don't allow me to take decision now .I don't know what to do my husband wanted me to go to hospital at night I booked an appointment at ane but my body and my mind was not deciding what to do as I was forgetting everything with pain so I stayed on bed.please someone take me to right path I don't understood anything last night i was planning to hurt myself in the pain was sleepy due to cocodomols so my mind body and pain was not allowing me to wake from my bed.please please please someone help me I can't decide anything just staying on bed and waiting for my breath to stop by itself.

Am really sorry you are in so much pain. This isn’t right and you need to listen to your husband and go and get medical care. Straightaway.

is there anyone else also who is in continuous pain from 2 months after surgery. I can't even move myself taking all painkillers but no help.i tried contacting everywhere but no help .I can't understand why I am unable to do even something less with my body.If I try to do much I get tired ,holding myself tight in pain.i tried calling volunteer number but couldn't be able to talk with anyone.
