I was diagnosed with endometriosis in August last year after 2 years of being told it was nothing but thrush!!! I have these awful stomach spasms which go on for about 10/15 minutes. They make me feel dizzy, sick, hot and feel like they last forever. Is there anything ANYONE can recommend to ease the pain of these spasms when they come? I would ask my doctor but they are absolutely useless and don’t understand.
Thankyou x

Hi hun. I know exactly how you feel. I'm 26 and have had these pains since 18, non stop in my left ovary area which goes to my back and down my leg. Even with two laparoscopies it didn't help. I suffer with pains throughout the day for about a week right after my period. Its horrendous, so much so I decided I could no longer work.
You should definitely speak to your doctor and have them prescribe you naproxen if you feel like your pain is inflammed. It's an anti inflammatory and strong. I prefer Ibruprofen as it works extremely fast for me. And I would highly recommend getting either an eletric warmer or hot water bottle. My water bottle is my saviour in these times! I hope you get the right pain management for yourself. Xx
Hi. I had similar symptoms for ages and about 2 years ago I noticed a very small lump at the right side of my tummy, near where the ovaries are. They eventually took that out and was proven to be a not so small endometriosis nodule. Recovering from surgery at the moment and hopefully the pain will go away. Unfortunately my hip and leg still hurts before and after period.
Yes. I’ve seen numerous gynaecologist’s and been seen private by 2 specialists but they’re not doing much. I take the contraceptive pill every night also. Waiting on my second laparoscopy date
I use heat when I get stomach cramps, and I also drink peppermint tea through the day to calm everything down. I've also heard tens machines are good, but I've not tried one yet x
