Very irregular/skipped periods after recent laparoscopy?

Hello, this is my first time posting and I’m just looking for some advice please.

I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis following a laparoscopy on 29 January. My first period afterwards was 14 February and that was on time, albeit I bled longer than usual. However, I did experience very light spotting about 10 days after my first period which I didn’t experience before the surgery. My second period post-op is now over two weeks late and has showed no signs of arriving at all. I’ve taken a test to rule out pregnancy and that was negative.

I’m really just looking for some advice. Has anyone else experienced delayed periods after surgery? This is really unusual for me and I just feel so overwhelmed, confused and a bit like a failure - silly I know!

Yes mine were delayed I didn't get any post surgery bleeding and I think the first period was five weeks after. You just had major surgery which does affect periods and it may take a while to settle down again.
