First time posting on here, I’m 27 and have been given an assumptive diagnosis of endo based on all of my symptoms by my gynae consultant. I’m on the wait list for a diagnostic lap but that could be 9-12 months.
I’m due to start on Zoladex in a couple of weeks as the pill is providing no relief, but I’m just in constant pain - the flare up I’m having has currently lasted a week and I’m on co-codamol, naproxen and oramorph which only just helps me to do the basic of tasks. I am honestly at my wits end, and any help/advise/tips would be greatly appreciated!
Hello I’m also 27 and have been told it sounds like a have endo but no diagnosis, only I am not due to have a lap.. I’m waiting to see a specialist first. But I do understand your pain and frustration! I’m so fed up and want to find answers but just seems long winded. Haven’t got many tips other than.. I do drink peppermint and chamomile tea which can help with inflammation and bloating etc. I find the deep freeze gel helps sooth my cramps and pain during period or any other time. The only tablets that help with pain for me is feminax. Hope this helps in some way or just give you comfort that you’re not alone and also try some yoga or hip opening movements to try and relieve some pain and discomfort xx
Thanks for your reply, I’ll give the tea and yoga a go. Spoke with my doctor today and I’m now trying tramadol. I wish feminax worked for me; then I wouldn’t be so fuzzy headed when I’m in pain!
