When you think things can’t get stranger.... It could possibly be TB?

So 4 years ago, nearly 5 I exploded with a massive pelvic infection! So severe it took 6 months of antibiotics to clear! STIs were clear.. So I got sent for a lap which diagnosed Stage 4 DIE endometriosis and frozen pelvis and subsequently sent to BSGE for surgery! I eventually got my surgery, after which I received 4 years and counting follow-up, and told I would never be rushed into surgery again! And that consultant wasn’t lying! I never received further surgery! For 4 years I was bounced between Zoladex and the combined pill in order to keep the Endo at bay, with no relief! After a stressful period in my life I ended up in hospital with Sepsis. (As per my previous posts, my Endo has always been ‘infectious). So I was told all my symptoms were in my head, I had IBS, to go away... blah, blah, blah! It is just ‘Endo’. I now have an abscess they ain’t sure they can remove! It’s a complicated mass that had abscessed! They have suggested Endo, I do have other masses suggestive of Endo, but the Dr this morning said the mass is just an abscess, an abscess causes a mass? Anyway, I’m leaving them to decide what the hell it is! So anyway, now after years of hormonal treatment they actually now believe I have Tuberculosis! Yep TB! And that is why my pelvis is a mess! If this couldn’t get stranger it just did! Anyone relate?

Hi Yes it does happen TB in womb!With Endometriosis offen like me have other issues, perhaps Asthma or Hayfever and other Auto immune illnesses.

3 years ago I went to my Dentist just for a checkup. While I was there she cleaned a few teeth alittle. Found nothing wrong. 48hrs later I developed Jaw pain. I went back to dentist she gave me standard Antibiotics. It got worse and worse. I went to A&E on the weekend who said I had infection, Temperature, take antinflammory at high dose. On the Monday I returned to the Dentist. The infection had spread. She drilling into my jaw gain more different Antibiotics. The next 48hrs bright yellow pus came into my eye, my face swelled, Pus in mouth and down nose.

I returned again to the Dentist she said I would have to lose 1 or more teeth to drain. I was very, very ill.

A perfect tooth was removed. Then she said if this didn't work I would be sent to a different Hostipal and I may lose part of my Jaw!

It was a living hell!

I just wanted to die!

The antibiotics started to work. I still need another prescription of the same antibiotics to get well.

I was told my immune system was crap.

Also 2yrs ago I had under a general to exclude Womb Cancer due to new symptoms with my Endometriosis.

That's when I got Sepsis, ill again for 3 mths and different high dose Antibiotics.

So if you have Immune System issues be very careful!!!!
