Adenomyoma removal and gnrh

Hello everyone. I had a focal adenomyoma removed through laprascopy. Also had a few chocolate cysts and adhesions cleared at the same time. It was a pretty extensive surgery and I have a great doc. Unfortunately, I landed up catching an infection within a week and was back at the hospital on very heavy antibiotics for about 14 days. During this time I got very weak and haven't recovered yet. But my scans showed that the cysts and adenomyoma were removed. I was then put on gnrh about two weeks ago but landed up getting a period on it (about a week after the previous one had ended!). It's heavy though not clotty. Is this normal? Has this happened to you? Pls let me know. Thanks in advance
