Indigestion and nausea

Does anyone else experience indigestion and/or nausea when they get their period?

It’s not something I usually experience but I’m on my period atm and whenever I eat something I feel SO sick. Not to the point of being sick but I feel so horrible like I just want to lay down and, this is really gross (sorry), but I keep burping loads and feeling like I have trapped air in my stomach.

Not sure if this is just a one off because my period is being a bit strange this month anyway but I just wondered if there are any other endo people out there who have experienced this??

I feel so hungry right now but I don’t want to eat because I know I’m going to feel terrible afterwards 😭

Hello. Yes I get this. I find peppermint capsules really help! They can be bought from Holland And Barrett. Or even peppermint tea x

Yes. I've had this the last two periods. But I push myself to have a good breakfast - even if it takes me a while - and then down an anti spasmodial (prescribed by my doc). After the tablet, I found that the nausea and pain settled.

Yeah it’s strange because I’ll feel hungry like normal but then as soon as I eat I’ll feel sick etc. Maybe I’ll speak to my gp next time I’m there and see if they can recommend anything. Thanks for your reply :) x
