Constant nausea

Hi, does anybody else suffer from extreme nausea just before they get their period, during their period and whilst ovulating? I feel there are only a few days a month where I am not feeling sick. Along with the constant exhaustion it's just awful. I am due to have surgery in October, the thought of having to wait that long is terrible.

Yes, I get bad nausea running up to my period. Ginger tea and mints help a bit. It would be good to have some tips from others on how to manage this x

As the months go on, the sicker I tend to feel while in pain - on my period and afterwards too, to the point I don't want to eat or I'm pushing food around my plate. I had the depo injection today to hopefully stop my periods, which in theory should stop or reduce the pain I'm in. I should be having lap in Oct too, I've said I can take a cancellation as I start my teacher training in Sept. Sorry I have no tips on how to help feeling sick but I know how you feel with the sickness

I suffer with really bad dizziness and nausea. Not nice :-( no tips sorry

Get some anti nausea from the docs! I've had Ménière's disease for over a decade and am expert on throwing up! But luckily it's not as bad these days. Try the sea sickness bands from the chemist or Ebay as they help stop the feeling. Failing that the usual meds the docs give you is stemitil or Buccastem which goes on your gum so you don't have to swallow it. I'm now on one that's for chemo patients! It's good tho. Meto something. Anyway, don't put up with it! Get some meds xxx

Thank you everyone. It seems to be getting worse and worse because I'm no longer on any hormone treatment, hopefully when I've had surgery to remove the endo it will be much better (for a while at least) I will try the meds and the ginger ladies, thank you xxx

Hi fifi, I suffered with nausea since I had my children, they are 12 and 10 now. No one knew the reason. Now, my symptoms became obvious, since last September , I have a strong light sensitivity and like you only seem to feel normal few days a month. I din't have the obvious signs for endo until last April but felt like my hole body was against itself. The only way of coping with it is resting lots and sleeping .

At the moment , I am looking into changing my diet , avoiding foods that cause inflammation.

Has anyone tried endo diet ?

Xx

Hi, I haven't tried the endo diet, but I will try anything to make me feel better. It's starting to really get me down as I feel so ill all the time. I'm due to have my period tomorrow and my nausea is horrendous today. I honestly cannot wait to have my surgery and start to feel better. It's spread throughout my ovaries, cervix, bowel, bladder and rectum - so the thought of feeling normal again is what gets me through. Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel xx

Hi. I have been offered to have the endo removed. I've been advised I should get 12 months endo free - enough time for me to hopefully fall pregnant (fingers crossed) xxx

Hi I get nauseous a lot almost everyday so I started a food diary and noticed a few things that make me more nauseous or bring it on. One is eggs and since I've cut those out I don't get as nauseous. Also coffee-cut that out. And other things like chickpeas and soy are high in oestrogen which my body doesn't like (diorrhea). I'm not sure exactly but I'm thinking its a link between high oestrogen containing foods. Does anyone else have more info or research on this?

I find fresh ginger in hot water amazing. Hope this helps

Xx

Hi guys, the only thing that helps me with nausea is ti avoid getting too tired. At the moment ,I am visiting my parents in the county side. The sickness was creeping in last Sunday and tribe presume in the back on Wednesday, o am also due any day. But feeling so much better than any other month in the last 6 month. Last period, I had to go to sleep everyday after work before I could get dinner sorted for the boys. This was for 2 weeks.

But allowing myself to rest made wonders this month . I know we all need to go to work. Although, resting plenty and not feel guilty about it, is very importan.

I find it hard to explain to friends and my kids that sometimes I need to miss out on things because of tiredness. All my friends are older then me but , I have always been the tired and sick one.

Coffee is the big thing .try Google Dr A axe.

Xx
