Post Hysterectomy pain?

I had my total laparoscopic hysterectomy with ovarian conservation and excision of endometriosis around pelvis and behind my belly button on the 31st of October this year.

It has been a rollercoaster in terms of recovery as I developed 2 infections , after being treated with an antibiotics course for my second infection I developed a reaction all over my body. Now it gladly seems to be clearing with antihistamines and aqueous and menthol cream.

However now I am experiencing pain like pre-surgery. I would technically be due/ finishing my period. Before surgery I was in pain 7 days before my period till 10 days after my period. I had adenomyosis and endometriosis.

Is this all part of healing, or has the endometriosis returned already, or will I get pain like this every month...

Anyone with any experience like this?

I am 26yrs old and still taking the progesterone only pill to stop/ slow the regrowth of endometriosis.

Hello.

Ive not been in the same situation. But as your surgery was less than a month ago I would say that it's likely to be part of the healing process. Just from excision surgery it can take between 3-6 months to heal internally. So adding a hysterectomy ontop of that I'd suggest it's likely to be healing still.

But if you have any signs of infection on top of this such as a fever go and get checked by a Dr to be safe.
