Pulsating in tummy where I had op

Hi - I had a laparoscopy last week for ovarian cyst removal and they found endometriosis. There was so much that they couldn’t remove it and I need another op. Also had a coil fitted. I have just felt really weird since and everything doesn’t feel right and don’t know why :(

I have been light headed, feeling really hot and sweating, night sweats, anxiety, really sad and crying at everything. Woke up couple of times out of breath or feeling can’t breathe. Still got slight pains and another pain started today in tummy. I also started to get pulsating in the same area and it’s making me feel ugh! Does anyone know what this pulsating is please?

So sorry to hear you are unwell its almost 5am where i live this might be bit of a sloppy messege. I be concered the sweating mght be infection so you could ring your gp and explain our symroms to see if its worth going in for check up on that. I might be wrong but good to check!

From my opinions only pulsating could be the muscles playing up as they were distirbed during the operaion like after an exersie your muscles pulsate to kind of get back into shape comfortable. Laps may not seem like a major major surgery but of course a lot is done in the inside without being shown on the out side.

I had post surgery blues for about 3 months try to get some little hobbies to partake in when you feel bit down. I discovered some things i know kove making recocery into a positive experience.

I had awful period type pains for 2 to 3 weeks after lap hardly slept to be honest. It is a hard process and i am thinking of you.

Rest rest rest and listen to your body. Like i said keep track of your sweats and flushes!

Keep going most of the recovery will be over in a few weeks!😁 xx

Hello, it was about week 3 when I had night sweats and was so worried as my temperature went up to 41 degrees c. I went to my docs and he said to keep an eye on my temp, taking it every two hours, he checked my wounds and said no sign of infection so I’d get yourself checked out to be safe.

I still get pulsating (week 10) been told it’s muscle/ nerves healing.

I hope you start to feel better soon but always get checked out if you’re worried over anything. Xx

It does sound like there may be something wrong! Possibly infection or the coil is not in the correct spot. I would go to your doctor ASAP or if they can’t see you soon, go to emerg. They can do bloodwork and ultrasound to see where the coil is. Feel better soon!!

Thanks ladies. I went on Friday morning and asked for an app with my Dr. Reception said yes 920am with Kevin! Errrm who the F is Kevin? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Kevin was a nurse and Kevin was an arsehole. Felt my belly took my temp n said I am doing too much! That was it! I have no tummy pains now but weird feelings up the back of my head and ears I can’t explain. Comes on now and again and still keep getting the hot sweats and light headed. Face still flushed and look and feel clammy ugh also feel a bit sick when this happens 😩 tried googling this but doesn’t really say anything. I think I would be in lots of pain if there was an infection do you? X
