Microgynon pill not helping?

Hi All,

Hope yourr all having a good, pain-free day. I have been taking the Microgynon pill for two months now (just starting my third cycle on it) to try and reduce symptoms of *potential* endo.. i.e. right-hand side pelvic pain all throughout the month.. but nothing has changed except slightly lighter periods.. And also less pelvic pain DURING my period only.. For the remainder of the month it’s the same as normal..

I came off my period two days ago and already my lower right hand side has a dull ache that stays all day.. It’s horrible..

I trialled the pill to see if there was any difference in symptoms but not much as happened.. I’m not sure if it’s worth bothering to continue with it..

As for trying to get a diagnosis.. I’ve been referred for a second transvaginal ultrasound (had my first 8 months ago which showed nothing).. I know this won’t show endo but it may help rule out other problems with my ovaries. After that I will push for a MRI and potentially a lap.. Originally I was against having a lap to fully diagnosis as my pain was/is ‘bearable’.. But I can’t stop worrying and thinking it’s something more extreme that’s wrong.. It literally consumes my life and thoughts..
