Microgynon

I am currently on back to back Microgynon but my symptoms have suddenly got much worse. I don't know who I'm supposed to contact about this? My GP? I think there is an endo nurse at my local hospital. Or do I just get use to it and wait until surgery which might be in March/April?

Would the combined pill, specifically microgynon 30, work just as well as the Mirena coil in slowing tissue growth/ lessening symptoms? The Mirena coil was recommended to me but I've been undecided for months due to concerns over my mental health.

I had one normal bleed in between and in preparation for FET #3 my doctor put me on microgynon. I started the microgynon on 15 May and should have gotten my bleed in a week but I started spotting over the weekend, heavier than normal but not a regular period.

So I’ve been taking Microgynon since July 2023 and after 6 months I noticed I was getting rather bad migraines and I was told that I could take three packs back to back and have a four day break instead , which I have been doing but in the past 6 months on both my four day breaks I’ve experienced extreme

Hey guys, So like the title says, I took 2 weeks of microgynon 30 then stopped because I was worried about my health after getting heart palpitations which I thought could be related. Because i was supposed to take my last week of active pills on Tuesday but didn’t I’ve started to bleed.

Have any of you had a similar experience with Microgynon or have any tips for fatigue? Hope you are all having a pain free day xx

Hi, I’ve been on birth control for 3 years, Microgynon 30 to be specific. I was wondering if the pill can hide symptoms of cervical cancer.

As such, my GP changed me over to Microgynon back to back with a seven day break after three months. I’m nearing my first break but the daily pain, bloating has been constant the entire time I have taken the this pill.

Hello everyone, So i’ve been on Microgynon 30 for 3 years now. I’m not sexually active and just been paranoid about side effects long term, like been getting a bit of abdominal pain when on the third week of my pack (that feeling like you’re about to get your period)which I usually don’t get.

Im bleeding daily - very lightly whilst taking this pill (this has unfortunately been normal for me since reintroducing hormonal contraceptives) but I expected a significant ‘period’ type bleed on the break (which previously occurred with desogestrel and Microgynon) but I’m still just seeing the same

My daughter has suffered with menstrual issues for several years now and takes Microgynon back to back for the symptoms. She recently had an mri which showed no evidence of endo but polycystic ovaries. Shes had some bloods done which came back <0.3 Fsh and <0.1 Lh. What could this mean?

Hi Ladies, My backstory is I came off Microgynon contraceptive pill a couple of years to regulate hormones before trying to conceive. Since coming off pill my periods have not been fun at all and symptoms seem to have gotten worse.

I take Microgynon back to back for the whole pack and then take a break for 4-7 days before restarting again. I've doing this for a little while and it's really helped with managing pain and keeping me at work for longer. However, this time, I've almost got a full blown period happening.

I was prescribed Microgynon 30 and told to do three packs back to back. As I started the third pack last week I got a small amount of breakthrough bleeding which I wasn’t surprised about.

I’m on the combined pill microgynon and I was wondering if you still need to take it after you’ve had your period, if you’re not still having sex. Like I had sex, I started the pill and I’ve had my period. Do I still need to take the pill if I’ve not had sex since?

The GP said that because she had been on Microgynon for 3 months and the MRI was clear but the pain had not improved, then we can rule out any gynae issue. Can I rule out endometriosis? Thank you.

Do I start taking the microgynon 30 today in the hope the rubella antibodies come back positive or do I wait another month? I'm 46 and low AMH (yes as might be epxected) and using our own cells thank you for your time and advice. wishimg you all the very best and baby dust
