Magnesium citrate supplement for post op constipation..

Just a recommendation that has personally helped me ward of any constipation (which I am prone to) after lap surgery, is taking a couple of 100 mg capsules at bedtime. It has really helped keep my bowels working, (doesn't give me loose stools or anything) aswell as drinking enough water/fluids. I know that mag citrate is used as a bowel prep laxative so I guess it makes sense really. Also helps relax the body too.

please note- I am sure mag citrate is pretty safe but I am not a medical professional so maybe consult one first before taking it:-)
