Try moving your arms gently as though doing front crawl, this is what my osteopath recommended and I didn’t have too much gas trouble. Let me know if it helps!
I've not been able to sit or lay down. Luckily my body has told me to do that motion with my arms. Still no relief just yet. I'm exhausted but so uncomfortable when Im still. So I'll keep moving and keep fingers crossed. Thanks x
Oh Hannah I’ve just got over mine so I know exactly how you feel! I drank peppermint tea, used my hot water bottle, massaged lots and made sure to keep on top of painkillers. Also it feels counter intuitive but walking around as much as you can help you to pass wind which gets it out. It’s bloody awful but it does go eventually. Mine took 5-6 days so just ride it out for now
Putting heat on it really helped me cope with the pain. I used a hot water bottle for my last one but I've bought a long wheat pack to heat up rest on my shoulders for the next one I have. Be careful not to burn your skin. I also bought windease to help as well.
