Anyone know if having fizzy drinks is supposed to help with the gas following laparoscopic surgery for endo?

Thanks

I would think it might make it worse! 😳 Peppermint tea worked wonders for me, and windeze tablets xxx

I see your logic but no the gas can't go through the normal bumps and trumps us humans have because it is not in your origins it's in the cavity around them but usually ends up in the receptor in your left shoulder. Massage might help and herbal teas are always good just in general, I'm a fan of a rosemary sprig with a tea spoon of brown sugar in hot water a herbalist told me about and the benefits for women's health. If the gas from the op is not dispersing as quickly as it should you could always give accupunture a go. Good luck. I had a laparoscopy last Thursday. Get well soon x

Peppermint tea was a really big help after the opp.

Peppermint cordial for me in warm water ... stronger than tea apparently. I had it so bad that I would wake up screaming as it was trapped on my shoulder 🙈🙈
