Hi guys! I had an MRI on 14th Feb for my sciatica and at the same time they noticed a 5cm cyst and possible endometriosis so got referred to a specialist the week after. After my first consultation my Dr told me lapatoscopy, hysteroscopy, die test to check my tubes and cystectomy were my best options as Im also trying for my first child. Iv always had painful periods but just thought I was unlucky! If I didnt have an MRI for my lower back, Id be none the wiser! So I just had keyhole surgery and turned out I had stage 4 endo and my ovaries were stuck behind my womb! Atleast its fixed... for now! Been advised to ttc over the next three months while the endo is clear so fingers crossed! Just recovering now in bed with lots of painkillers and netflix!

That is so similar to what happend to me. I had Mr I scans for a slipped disc in my lower back and they found I had cysts on my ovaries. I had a microdisectomy in June 2016 then a laparoscopy in December 2016 - they found I had stage 4 endo.
I was fine for a year post op, but now in lots of pain on and off on the low left part of my abdomen and down the top of my left leg.
It sounds like you have been through alot and just like me, its lucky we got it spotted on our mri scans! I would say get yourself checked again.. we both know how bad it can get if we leave it. Stay strong x
Yep I have had my 12 month review with an endo nurse and I said I have lots of pain on and off - it often wakes me up in the night and I can't sleep with the pain, have to get a heat bag and take painkillers a and it takes hours. She is going to speak to the consultant and thinks i will need another mri to see what is going on.
