For the last four months I've had hip pain alongside lower back pain. The pain in ny hip stretches down my leg and across my right buttock. It ranges from dull and achy to tingly. The doctor I visit was nasty and did an internal examination. She stated she felt nothing and refused to refer me. I have been diagnosed with moderate to severe endometriosis at 21 and I'm now 27yrs. I went to push doctor to get pain relief and naproxen does take away the pain. However, im masking the pain and I still don't know the cause. Is this the endometriosis? Does anyone else get pain like this?

Hip pain...
Hi there
I have been diagnosed with severe Endo and had my second lap Feb I'm still experiencing lower back pain daily and I suffer on my left hip always top of my buttocks. I would like to know if this is Endo related also, it must be. I'm having my follow up soon so I will ask them. xx
Im convinced it's related to endometriosis. The doctors suggested I'd injured my back but I have no idea how if that's the case. It will be interesting to hear what your specialist says. I can't seem to get near a specialist these days =( I also have was wondering if it was a cyst causing the pain.
My Gp is useless when it comes to my Endo they haven't got a clue they gave me back exercises to do like it's a injury also. I have been getting really bad lower side pain near ovary so thinking I may have a cyst again similar pain I had for years and years and was always told I was suffering from normal ovulation pain miittschmerz i was told I had this for years by different doctors and nurses. It wasn't till years later I stated have bowel symptoms my gp then said I had ibs I pushed for a scan and as soon as they scanned me they could see there was one big mess inside years of undiagnosed. I actually googled my symptoms as I knew something wasn't right and always Endo came up so I wasn't surprised when I got told I had severe Endo I already self diagnosed myself. It's a condition that really needs to be taken more seriously and checked n women.
Are you under gynecology? Go back to your doctor and ask for a scan, be persistent with them they really don't know much about Endo I know my gps don't. You tell them u would like to be referred to a specialist to rule anything out. Xxx
I get this too on my right side and at my lap yesterday surgeon confirmed that right ovary was stuck to everything on that side basically.
Demand to be referred to a specialist on the list at bsge.org.uk/clinic
Your GP can not refuse to refer you. If the pain is going down your leg it indicates the endo could be very far down in the pelvis and it needs to be one of these specialists that deal with it, not an average gynae.
My last experience at the doctors has totally put me off going back but I thibk I've got to try again.
I've been referred on to a specialist now so hopefully it will get sorted
Yes it could be burstiss scatia as well all combined.
